It's summer in the city and that means patios and brunch. To spice up Sunday Funday, Ashmont Grill is are turning their patio into a yoga studio on Sunday July 23rd.
Join us for an hour long, all levels yoga class. Come stretch it out, then stay for brunch!

Cost: $25 and includes your yoga class and 1 mimosa

Get ready to switch off your phones, unwind and give in to the simple life where you will be surrounded by the beautiful lush forest and the Pacific ocean. This trip is for those who want something different, something easy, something effortless– you'll stay in a cabaña amongst the trees, share family-style meals with like-minded people, watch the sunset and the stars from the deck in the treetops, and stroll five minutes to pristine beaches.  Paradise at your finger tips!

SAY GOOD BYE TO WINTER AND HELLO TO SUNSHINE....Get ready to shed your winter coat, join Jenna Hill and Rachel Barrringer for 4 nights and 5 days at Shiva's Cave Yoga Retreat Center in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic. This all inclusive retreat will cover all of your meals, 2 daily yoga classes-vinyasa and chill/restorative, a guided boat trip to Los Haitises National Park, and lots of relaxing on some of the most beautiful beaches you have ever seen.

There will be plenty of free time to relax, lounge poolside, check explore the local culture, shop, and experience the nightlife of Las Terrenas. It is the perfect opportunity to leave winter behind and soak up some much needed sunshine! All levels are welcome.

Open your heart: Back Bending workshop with Jenna Hill

Back bending is a specialized practice that focuses on lengthening and opening the spine not only backward and forward, but laterally (sideways). Safe and deep back bending involves the opening of the pelvis, hip flexors, upper back and shoulders.

In this workshop students will be led through a sequence of postures that warm up the body(focus will be on: shoulders, hamstrings, hips, chest and upper back) to help create space in the front body and cultivate awareness around the back of the heart. Then using a creative flow sequence we will move toward deeper back bending postures (i.e. Locust, Camel, Bow, and Bridge and wheel) to invigorate the back followed by seated and supine twists. At the end the students will enjoy a long guided relaxation. 

There will be a strong focus on alignment and advanced options will be given for those with a deeper back bending practice.

This workshop is not for students brand new to yoga, 8-10 classes are recommended.
This is a 2 hour workshop

What's a better way to celebrate the American Liver Foundation 21-miler than with a little yoga! Join me and my friend Jenna, from Jenna Hill Yoga, for an amazing night of yoga, Lincoln Tavern pizzas, and a drink or two. I'll also have some great raffle prizes on hand. This class will soothe any post-run aches and pains and leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. This is an all levels yoga class, no experience needed.

Jenna Hill and Kristin Khederian, both certified Yoga Instructors in Boston, are teaming up to bring you a rockin' Thursday night of yoga and cocktails at Boston's first craft distillery, Bully Boy Distillers!

This special event will include one hour of Vinyasa Yoga in the Bully Boy Distillery followed by a tour, tasting and cocktails of some of the city's best rum, whiskey and vodka.

If there was ever a time to drag that boyfriend (or whiskey drinking friend) who thinks yoga is not their thing, July 23rd is the day!

The yoga class will be co-taught by Jenna and Kristin and is open to all levels (even beginners). This ain't no fancy shamancy studio! Post class, we will be providing you with food and the Bully Boy Staff will help you to rehydrate.

There are a lot of things that you have to do every day, so we brewed a beer to help you get to the things you want to do. Like getting your yoga on at Harpoon for instance! To celebrate our new beer, Harpoon Take 5 Session IPA, our friends Jenna Hill and Kristin Khederian of PopUpAsana will be teaching outdoor yoga at the brewery. Our keg yard will be put to good use for an hour of Vinyasa Yoga, then we’ll head up to the Harpoon Beer Hall to enjoy a pint, a pretzel, and our yoga glow!

Boston Yoga teachers Jenna Hill Yoga and Kristin Khederian Yoga are teaming up to bring you a summer of yoga outside!

When? Monday nights starting June 29th, 6:15- 7:15pm.

Where? M Street Park (meet at the corner of M & East Broadway) in South Boston.

These Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes will consist of a dynamic flow that will have you moving and grooving. Expect to meet some new people and have a lot of fun!

Coming Home to Hanumanasana

Far from being an unobtainable pose, Hanumanasana (splits) and it's precursors, strengthen and ease your hamstrings into greater mobility and targeted somatic relief.  Those back and knee aches and  you've been experiencing are often rooted in hamstring restriction. When the hamstrings are tight, they act like strings, pulling at the connective tissues and ligaments that in turn, pull on your low back and knees, creating soreness. The benefits and mobility gains of working towards hanumanasana  pour across your mat and into every other pose.

In this workshop, you will be guided through effective, safe poses that steadily build greater flexibility. We're not promising you'll make the cheer squad, but we know your back and knees will thank us.
