This workshop encourages an equanimity within your yoga practice by incorporating an extra gentle yoga sequence, a short guided meditation and closing with the sweet release of a restorative practice.
Gentle yoga is for ALL levels! A gentle yoga sequence stretches and opens the body slowly to create space, increase range of motion and ease the body of pain and tension.
Restorative yoga is supported postures that help relieve the effects of stress and a busy mind. With the support of props (such as bolsters, blocks, blankets, chairs), the body enters into a deep state of relaxation to release chronic tension and the mind becomes calm and peaceful.
Guided meditation is a state of relaxed concentration led by another party. ... Guided meditation can be as short as a few minutes or as long as several hours. Either way, the purpose is to achieve mental, emotional and physical healing and relieve stress.
