Movement for Emotional Healing

Be it living through a global pandemic, childhood abuse, grief from the death of a loved one, vehicle accidents, medical procedures, or academic challenges, trauma doesn’t discriminate—it can affect anyone.

Join Jenna for a a unique combination of yoga, meditation, and breathwork for those who are or have been vicariously or directly affected by trauma, grief or emotional dysregulation.

Movement for Emotional Healing will help restore the mind body connection, making your body a safe place.

We will work toward wholeness with a loving, nurturing, compassionate and a non-judgmental approach. You will come to understand your emotions through a series of movements to help release within the body and repair the connection between mind, body and breath by freeing your body of tension, regulating and understanding your emotions, creating a new sense of awareness and developing new coping skills.

**This is a six week series that is welcoming and accessible for all. No prior experience with yoga is needed. Space will be limited.

**We will meet weekly on Monday evenings from 5:45pm-6:30pm.

Cost: $240 (register under the workshop tab on the scheduling page)

All session will be held on zoom, you will be sent a secure zoom link for participants upon registration.

Jenna will be available on zoom 15min prior to each session to help you settle in and answer any questions.

About Jenna…

Prior to teaching yoga, Jenna was a social worker in Boston Public Schools and at a Residential Treatment Center for young men. She saw firsthand in others as well as in herself the physical ailments that come when we are not taking care of ourselves mentally and physically. Since the pandemic, Jenna has returned to social work and works in an outpatient clinic in the Boston area serving those with trauma, anxiety, depression and early onset psychosis. Jenna sees teaching as an extension of her therapeutic work. Instead of sitting and talking to someone to help them feel better, she is helping her students help themselves through movement and breath, she feels honored to serve her community through compassionate healing and vibrant classes.
